What does a shoot cost?
Packages start at $500 for photo session, and every one lists exactly what's included on the booking form. Add-ons like drone or helicopter work are priced separately so you only pay for what you actually want. Nothing is quoted vaguely — you'll see the total before you pay anything.
How much is the deposit and is it extra?
$300, and it is not extra — it comes off your total. It exists to hold the date, because a held date is one I'm turning other work away for. The balance is due on the day of the shoot.
How soon do I get my photos?
Usually within 48 hours, longer for a full production with a bigger edit. You'll get a private link by email. Save the files to your own drive when it arrives — the link comes down after 30 days.
How does booking actually work?
Pick a date and time from the calendar, choose a package, tell me what you want in the edit, and pay the deposit. I confirm personally — usually within a few hours — and you get an email with everything written down.
Do you travel?
Yes. Austin is home and most work happens in Texas, but I've shot on three continents and travel regularly. Tell me where and we'll work out the logistics before you book anything.
What if the weather is bad?
We move it, free, and your deposit moves with you. I'd rather reschedule than hand you frames neither of us is happy with. I make that call as early as I can so you're not left waiting.
Can I change the date after booking?
Yes — free with more than 48 hours' notice, and your deposit carries over. Just ask. I'd much rather move a shoot than lose it.
Can I use the photos however I want?
Yes. You get an unlimited, permanent licence — post them, print them, run ads with them, use them commercially, forever, at no extra cost. I only ask that you don't re-edit or filter the finished images, and don't sell them on as stock.
Will my shoot end up on your Instagram?
Only if you're happy for it to. If any of it is sensitive — private property, an unreleased car, a family occasion — say so and it stays private. You can ask at any point, including months later.
Do you shoot video as well as stills?
Both, and often together. Photo, video, and combined packages are all on the booking form, plus drone and helicopter air-to-air as add-ons. Everything is shot and cut by me — no handoffs, no subcontractors.
