A date is held once the $300 deposit is paid. Until then it stays open to anyone else. The deposit comes off your total — it is not an extra charge — and the balance is due on the day of the shoot.

Prices and packages are whatever is shown on the booking form when you book. Booking locks in that price even if it changes later.

You get every penny back. If I cancel for any reason — illness, equipment, a scheduling clash — your deposit is refunded in full and automatically. I'll tell you as early as I can and help you find another date if you want one.

More than 7 days before the shoot: the deposit is refunded in full.

Within 7 days: the deposit is kept. By then the date has been off the calendar long enough that it usually can't be filled, and any travel or crew is already committed.

Rescheduling is free with more than 48 hours' notice, and your deposit moves with you. Ask — I'd rather move a shoot than lose it.

Outdoor shoots depend on weather. If conditions would genuinely ruin the work, we'll move the date at no cost — that isn't a cancellation on either side. Judgement call is mine, made as early as possible.

Times are start times, not arrival times. If you're running late the shoot still ends when it was booked to end, because the next one may be waiting. Access, permits and permission to shoot on private property are yours to arrange — tell me in advance if a location is restricted and I'll help work it out.

Edited work usually arrives within 48 hours, longer for a full production. You'll get a private link by email.

That link expires after 30 days. Save everything to your own drive before then. After it expires the files come down, and re-uploading a whole shoot takes time I may not have immediately.

I keep copyright in the images, which is the default under US law for commissioned work of this kind.

You get an unlimited, permanent licence to use them — post them, print them, put them on your website, run ads with them, use them commercially. No expiry, no extra fee, no asking again.

Two things I ask: please don't re-edit or apply filters to finished images before publishing them, and please don't sell or license them on to a third party as stock. If you need something adjusted, ask me and I'll do it.

I may show work on this site and on social media. If any of it is sensitive — private property, an unreleased car, a family occasion — tell me and it stays private. No argument, no negotiation. Ask at any point, including long after the shoot.

I carry my own equipment insurance and take care on every shoot. If something goes genuinely wrong on my side, what I owe is capped at what you paid for that shoot. That's the honest limit of what a one-person studio can carry, and it's standard for the work.
